At least twice a year: in late spring and again in the fall after the leaves drop. Homes with lots of trees nearby may need it more often.
Can clogged gutters damage my roof?
Yes. Water that can't drain backs up under the roof edge, rots fascia boards and makes ice dams worse in winter. Overflowing gutters also dump water next to your foundation.
